As I am building a business, as many of you are, sometimes we get focused on the fun stuff like marketing, sales and networking! Then you have to deal with the not so fun stuff like book-keeping, etc. However, even the perceived mundane tasks or information can turn out to be, if nothing else, informative and important. I joined my local Chamber of Commerce and found myself in a Governmental Affairs Committee meeting and to say the least, it was eye-opening. Lots of topics I didn't know I didn't know. So not to get long-winded, I would definitely recommend getting involved with an organization, like a Chamber of Commerce, and learn a thing or two about a thing or two. Even just the general knowledge is nice to have. That's it! Talk to you real soon!
